Florida Face Biter May Have Ingested Lawn Chemicals

19-year-old Austin Harrouff’s mother told police he had been acting strangely for about a week, claiming to have superpowers, before he bit off a middle-aged man’s face. The Florida college student told police, "Help me, I ate something bad…humans” when he was arrested August 15th. Harrouff is charged with second-degree murder for the killings of 59-year-old John Stevens and his 53-year-old wife, Michelle Mishcon, outside their home. The FBI is running tests to find out if Harrouff was on drugs. His father claimed his esophagus was burned and the County Sherriff suspects Harrouff may have ingested lawn chemicals.
