In this video, I want to talk about the gallbladder. In my opinion, it’s the most ignored organ. Some people say that you don’t need it—it’s an extra organ. That’s not true at all.

The gallbladder connects to the liver via a tube. The gallbladder is like a little sac, which holds a vital fluid for your digestive system called bile. Bile helps break down fat for use. The pancreas helps the fat dissolving process by contributing enzymes.

Fatty acids are important for building tissue, brain cells, nerves, and much more.

Bile helps you absorb essential fat-soluble vitamins, including vitamins A, D, and K2. Without bile, you cannot fully absorb these vital nutrients. Fat-soluble vitamins are important for the health of your bone, respiratory system, immune system, skin, heart, eyes, and virtually every other part of your body.

Signs of low bile include:
• Constipation
• Bloating
• Burping/belching
• Right shoulder pain
• Headaches
• Not feeling satisfied after a meal

There are 5 common causes of low bile:
• High cortisol
• High estrogen
• Low-fat diets
• Soy protein isolate
• Junk food

Here’s how you can improve your gallbladder function and bile production:
• Acupressure
• A healthy diet
• Gallbladder formula supplements (with betaine hydrochloride)
• Cruciferous vegetables
• Vitamin D3 and K2
• DHA
