Today we’re going to talk about how to help decrease uric acid. Uric acid is basically a byproduct of proteins. It can actually leak into the joints and cause a lot of arthritic type pain. High uric acid can even lead to gout or kidney stones.

A few causes of high uric acid:
1. Consuming high-fructose corn syrup
2. Consuming too much sugar
3. Kidney problems
4. Fasting
5. Ketosis
6. Diuretics
7. Consuming an excessive amount of meat

How to lower uric acid:
• Take potassium citrate or consume plenty of vegetables
• Look at the causes and adjust your lifestyle while still doing fasting and ketosis
• Always do a keto diet with vegetables
