Today we’re going to cover interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome). There is no cure for this condition yet, and the cause of this condition is unknown.

A few symptoms of interstitial cystitis:
• Painful bladder
• Urgency to urinate
• Painful urination

A few things to know about interstitial cystitis:
• There’s usually not an infection
• There is an immune reaction that goes on
• There is inflammation
• There is urgency and pain
• It involves the autonomic nervous system
• It involves part of the sympathetic nervous system

As you get your body healthy overall, you may want to try cutting down insulin and cutting out some of the triggers of this condition like caffeine, alcohol, and MSG. However, there is also a natural remedy that may help give you some relief in the meantime, called L-arginine. L-arginine must be taken on an empty stomach. You may want to take 2g every day.

L-arginine does many things, but one of its great benefits is that it increases nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a natural thing in your body that relaxes the smooth muscle and inhibits spasms. It may help give you some relief as you get your whole body healthy.
