In this video, I want to share how the ketogenic diet may help those who get migraine headaches. There are many theories out there, but people are unsure of what causes migraines. Many times migraines are triggered by a high blood sugar situation. This could come from having high insulin or insulin resistance. 

Lowering insulin may help greatly improve the brain. The brain runs on ketones much more efficiently than it does on sugar or glucose. When you start the ketogenic diet, you’re adapting your body from running on sugar fuel to running on fat fuel. 

A few potential benefits of ketosis:
• Low stress
• Low waste
• More efficient neuron cells 
• More oxygen
