In this video, I’ll answer the many questions I’ve had about pork rinds. Are they acceptable on keto? Actually, they’re the perfect keto snack. They have no carbs and are a nice balance between fat and protein.

However, the quality is really important. I recommend the ones from a company called US Wellness Meats. Their pork rinds contain only sea salt, and their pigs are basically free-range. The problem is, if you buy pork rinds at a convenience store, you don’t know what you’re getting. MSG (monosodium glutamate) is sometimes added.

Read the label of the pork rinds you buy. Make sure they’re of higher quality. They’re good as a chip alternative. People like the crunch! I like to crush them and put them on my salad. I also have a great recipe for baked chicken coated in crushed pork rinds that actually tastes just like fried chicken.
