In this video, we’re going to talk about why you might be losing your hair, but also getting facial hair. Hair loss and facial hair in women are symptoms of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Other symptoms of PCOS include irregular cycles, acne, and a deepened voice.

PCOS is typically caused by high levels of androgens—caused by insulin resistance. High levels of insulin created by insulin resistance cause high androgens.

Keto and intermittent fasting can help fix insulin resistance, which can prevent hair loss and get rid of facial hair.
