In this video, we’re going to talk about calcium deficiency. Here are some of the symptoms of calcium deficiency:
•Back pain
•Neck pain
•Bone pain
•Poor posture
•Muscle cramps
•Joint pain
Although calcium deficiency is usually caused by the diet, it can also be caused by hypoparathyroidism, certain medications, or low stomach acid. If you have low stomach acid, you might have trouble absorbing adequate calcium.
If you have an allergy or intolerance to dairy, you could end up calcium deficient. Vegetable sources of calcium like spinach are high in phytic acid, which depletes calcium. Caffeine and diets high in sugar also deplete calcium.
If you’re experiencing some of the symptoms of calcium deficiency, try taking calcium orotate. Calcium orotate is an excellent form of calcium because the orotate helps the calcium penetrate deep within the cells. It’s best to take calcium with magnesium because they work synergistically.
