2:10 Dietary changes to improve symptoms of peripheral neuropathy

In this video, we’re going to talk about the underlying cause of numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. When you have low B1 in the presence of high insulin or high blood sugar, you damage blood flow to the nerves. This leads to a condition known as peripheral neuropathy in the hands and feet.

Peripheral neuropathy symptoms include tingling, pain, burning, pins and needles, and numbness. Hand numbness and feet numbness are the last stages of peripheral neuropathy.

If you’re looking for remedies for hand numbness related to peripheral neuropathy, try taking benfotiamine. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of the naturally water-soluble vitamin B1. Because benfotiamine is fat-soluble, it is better able to enter the myelin sheath. Benfotiamine is an excellent remedy for neurological damage and damage to the retina caused by diabetes.

Nutritional yeast is a natural source of B vitamins, so it can be beneficial to add to the diet as well. Sometimes, nutritional yeast is enough to alleviate symptoms of peripheral neuropathy.

Keto and intermittent fasting can help improve these symptoms by lowering insulin and normalizing blood sugars. If dietary changes don’t help, your numbness, tingling, and pins and needles could have another underlying cause. Here are some other less common causes of peripheral neuropathy:
•Spinal stenosis
•Thoracic outlet syndrome
•Pinched nerve
•Poor circulation
