In this video, I’m going to show you a quick posture fix that can improve poor posture immediately. Poor posture can be characterized by a forward head, forward neck, a hunch back, or slouching that can worsen over time.

For every inch your head is pushing forward, 10 pounds of weight is added to the upper back. Slouching leads to carrying a tremendous amount of extra weight that could create a lot of tightness.

Before trying this quick posture fix, stand naturally with your heels to the wall and determine how many inches your head and shoulders lean forward.

To try this bad posture fix, you’re actually going to exaggerate poor posture. Sit down and slouch, relax, hang your head forward and really round and stretch out your back. You can even use one hand to pull your head down. Repeat this 5 to 10 times.

Place your heels against the wall once more to see if your posture has improved. Most likely, you will notice that you are standing with the correct posture and are no longer slouching or hunching over.
