I explain how to stop cold at its first sign. As well, whether you have a viral infection or a bacterial infection, there are several things you can do to minimize it and maybe even prevent it.

First, take zinc and vitamin C together, but eat foods high in vitamin C as opposed to a supplement. I recommend eating lemons, as opposed to pasteurized lemon juice.

You can also drink apple cider vinegar because when you acidify your body with it, you speed up the action of white blood cells called phagocytes. They clean up bacteria as part of your immune system.

Eat garlic. It’s the most powerful anti-viral food I know. It’s also anti-bacterial.

Make sure you do these things right when you get the first symptom of a cold.

As well, do intermittent fasting so your body can go into repair mode, and increase its resistance to stress. Intermittent fasting also causes important changes at the cellular level, which will help stop a cold.

There’s usually a stress event connected with a cold, so take steps to reduce your stress. And of course, no sugar, alcohol, or milk products because they feed the bacteria and can keep the infection there much longer.

When people are exposed to a virus or bacteria, some people will get it and some won’t depend on their susceptibility. If your immune system is strong; if you’re in good shape; and, if you have a health reserve, chances are you won’t come down with an infection. But if you feel run down, and you’re going to do something like getting on a plane with many other people, take zinc, vitamin C, garlic, and even apple cider vinegar before you get on the plane. And, do intermittent fasting. This will all help you build up your resistance.

One last thing: get enough good quality sleep. This will also help build your resistance.
