Security forces make arrests after deadly wedding hall fire in Nineveh
At least nine people working at the banquet hall, which caught fire during a wedding reception and resulted in multiple deaths, have been arrested by security forces from Nineveh Province.

Major General Abdullah al-Jubouri, Nineveh Operations Commander in Nineveh, told reporters on Wednesday that those who were arrested helped manage the facility, which news reports earlier identified as al-Haitham Hall.

Al-Jubouri also said that federal security forces are coordinating with authorities in the Kurdistan region to arrest the owner of the hall.
