Let’s talk about the missing nutrient in allergies. That being said, there are other causes of allergies that I’ve done other videos on. But this is the first time I’ve touched on how a nutrient deficiency could be behind many allergic reactions.

First, here’s a new word: atopy. It’s a genetic tendency to develop allergies like rhinitis, eczema, rashes, and generally high histamines. One cause is low folic acid (vitamin B9). It’s involved in many chemical reactions; the one I’ll focus on is B9’s role in reducing histamines.

You can get folic acid from dark leafy greens and beef liver. It’s involved with an enzyme called MTHFR, which allows folic acid to work in your body. Many people have a mutation of this enzyme. You can get a genetic test to know if you’re affected. Also check out the videos linked below. This mutation is a lot more common than people think.

If your MTHFR enzyme is affected, you won’t be able to convert folic acid. One of the symptoms is allergies along with rashes.

But here are three remedies in addition to eating dark leafy greens. Take:
●Four to seven milligrams of methylfolate
●4,000 micrograms of the methyl version of B12
●400 milligrams of B6

Take all three of these supplements together with a meal, once a day, for three months. There’s some really interesting research on this protocol. I’ve linked to it down below this video so be sure to check it out.

Now you know how you could improve your allergies.
