Today, we’re going to talk about nonstick cookware, specifically Teflon. There are many different toxins in Teflon.

There are six different toxic gases that are emitted when you use Teflon. Two of the gases are global pollutants, and one can potentially be lethal in low doses.

Using nonstick cookware like Teflon can potentially lead to:
• Liver damage
• Immune dysfunction
• Thyroid dysfunction
• Chronic kidney dysfunction
• Infertility

Potentially dangerous chemicals can get into our environment, our food supply, and our bodies. It’s almost impossible to avoid our toxic environment. It’s important to constantly do things to clean your body of poisons.

Your body actually has the ability to take these dangerous chemicals and turn them into harmless particles through the liver. This is called biotransformation.

Certain foods can help break down poisons and even plastics that are in your body. You may want to consume cruciferous vegetables on a regular basis. Cruciferous vegetables can potentially help decrease poisons in your body.
