How To Deal With Robbing Bees

After we had a swarm earlier this summer, we had issues with getting a new queen in the hive. Eventually, we did get one going, but for being this late in the year, the hive isn't as strong as it should be. A weakened hive can be more susceptible to outside bees coming and attacking the hive to rob honey (and potentially bring outside issues like varroa mites in). Today our hive was under attack from robber bees, so in this video I cover how I have mitigated the issue.
