Left Hand Heavy (with accents) | Morning Warmups

Hey there Rumble(rs), back with today’s clip of warm-ups from 🥁 practice this morning for you. Here’s a pattern that is really meant to develop our left hand control…but those right hand accents are still very important! I love this one because once again we can focus on multiple things within the pattern ie. dynamics, stick heights, speed, control, specific hand techniques. Additionally, a slow tempo like this one can make things much harder…you can hear I’m loosey-goosey with the timing/dynamics at times in this video. I’ve got work to do!

If you’re a fellow drummer, I hope you dig in and have fun with it!
