Moment Ukrainian MiG destroyed by drone

On September 19, the Russian military launched an attack on the Ukrainian air force at the Dolgintsevo airfield, near Krivoy Rog. According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, three Su-25 support aircraft and two MiG-29 fighter jets were destroyed. The strike was confirmed by video footage circulating on social media, showing a drone’s eye view of a Lancet kamikaze drone descending towards one of the MiGs. The hit was not direct, but ultimately just as fatal – the impact occurred next to the cockpit, likely causing irreparable damage to not only the aircraft, but also damaging the airfield itself.
