Storm Shield Forecast mid-morning update 8/22/17

Bakersfield will climb to 98 today, just above our average of 95 for this time of year. Like the last couple afternoons, I think the Kern River Valley will see some dark clouds building in the afternoon, but the heat thanks to high of 95 there today will evaporate the light showers trying to fall. Further south Tehachapi will see some passing clouds but no rain chances with a high of 88. Frazier Park will be mostly sunny with a high of 80.
