SUTTON PARK: Nature of Birmingham

Growing up I visited Sutton Park with my family whenever the weather was good enough for picnics and lazy Sundays. I even wrote my dissertation on the Sutton Park Scout Jubilee Jamboree that took place in the 1950s, perhaps the biggest event to take place in my hometown, Sutton Coldfield.

On this day I was given a photography lesson with one of my mum's friends from church, Malcolm. We had a great time together and he even let me use one of his lenses. I think this could be the start of a great friendship between the two of us, and I hope to be out filming and improving my photography with him around Birmingham again very soon!
