🎬 VIDEO: Beginner’s Guide to Transfer Partners for BIG Value (Amex, Chase, Citi, Capital One Credit Cards): https://youtu.be/ae1WayyrwnE

American Express Membership Rewards points are among the most valuable credit card rewards on the planet (right up there with Chase Ultimate Rewards points, Citi ThankYou points, and Capital One Venture Miles). Many people are aware of Amex credit cards, but very few understand how to redeem Amex points for travel in a way that gives them huge, outsized value.

If you want to save BIG money on travel and make that next vacation a lot more affordable, you’ve got to learn how to use Amex transfer partners. This involves transferring Amex points to other airline and hotel programs, then booking award flights and hotel stays on the partner’s website.

Here’s the current list of AMEX TRANSFER PARTNERS as of September 2022:

AIRLINES
- Aer Lingus Aer Club
- Aeromexico Club Premier
- Air Canada Aeroplan
- Air France KLM Flying Blue
- ANA Mileage Club
- Avianca LifeMiles
- British Airways Executive Club
- Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
- Delta SkyMiles
- Emirates Skywards
- Etihad Guest
- Hawaiian Airlines
- Iberia Plus
- JetBlue TrueBlue
- Qantas Frequent Flier
- Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer
- Virgin Atlantic

HOTELS
- Choice Privileges
- Hilton Honors
- Marriott Bonvoy

All that said, using Amex transfer partners DOES NOT GUARANTEE big value. When it comes to airline miles, hotel points, credit card points, etc., a lot of these programs have different values. Plus, many of those airline and hotel programs have dynamic pricing, meaning the cash rates and rewards rates can fluctuate (even daily).

For that reason, it’s up to you to do the research and build a travel itinerary that yields a high value per point, and you’ll want to do that planning BEFORE doing any transfers.

In the end, the points game is all about using the fewest points possible to cover the biggest cash price possible (that way you save money to be used for other things)!
