WILL THE REAL CHILD OF GOD PLEASE STAND

The apostle Paul referred to the Jewish people as being blind to who Christ was and is to them. Then he made a statement about blindfolds being taken away. The idea of being blind to who Christ is to us and the world is not reserved for the Jewish nation only. The spirits of this age have blinded the world's nations to what Christ has already done for them at the cross and resurrection.
This is why we preach the gospel so that all men and women can know who they are in Christ. The Scriptures tell us that the Holy Spirit did not come to bring Jesus to us. It came to reveal Jesus in us.
The Holy Spirit is a revealer of the real child of God.
For centuries, much of the church has taught us that we are sons of Adam; therefore, we are bound by sin. Yet the Scriptures clearly show us that the sin passed on to the human race by Adam's fall was eradicated entirely, forgiven, and buried by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for all mankind.
You and I did not do anything to receive sin. It was introduced by Adams transcription. In like manner, we cannot do anything to gain righteousness because it was given to us by the action of Jesus Christ when he rose from the dead.
The real child of God understands this because their blindfolds have been taken off to see who they are because of Christ. We call that blindfold, salvation or conversion, but in reality, the Holy Spirit has come to us to reveal Christ in us.
Man's religion sets up qualifications and duties that we must perform before we are accepted in their particular idea of righteousness. The "do it yourself approach to God is dead works. You will never find your true self by your actions because Christ has already performed that for you.
Our only response to this revelation is to love the Lord, our God, with all our heart, and our neighbor is ourselves.
This is when the real children of God stand up.
