Ukrain veterans

There is a major scandal in Canada after Vladimir Zelensky’s speech in parliament.

They invited 98-year-old Ukrainian veteran Yaroslav Hunka there, presenting him as a “hero” who fought “for the independence of Ukraine against the Russians” during World War II. Parliament and Zelensky gave Hunka a standing ovation.

But it quickly became clear that Hunka was a veteran of the SS Galicia division, which outraged Jewish organizations. After this, Speaker of Parliament Anthony Rota stated that the invitation of the Nazi veteran was his personal initiative , to which the Ukrainian delegation had nothing to do. He apologized.
