I am so blessed to have every one of these hens and the awesome roosters to protect them.
Big Pretty, my Jersey Giant Rooster and Mr Red, my Rhode Island Red Rooster are just Fantastic.
This is what you get with 5-15 minutes a day (or more) of hanging out and showing love to your birds.
No Rooster Attacks... Ever.
Jersey Giants are Fantastic Roosters. No aggression. Very kind to the hens. No drive to fight other roosters. Super Protective of their hens... and because they are very large and black... the Hawks want NOTHING to do with your chickens.
The hawks must think Big Pretty is the Biggest Crow they've ever seen!!! LMFAO
