Jason Salyer Survived a River Disaster Simulation - Here's How He Did It! Jason overturns his canoe and loses all his survival gear. He uses his pocket survival kit (The Oh 💩 Kit) to build his camp. Using his canoe as a roof and with the help of the wire saw and ulu blade he improvised a mattress. The inside of the canoe lined with a mylar blanket works as a heat reflector and starting a fire was a breeze using the Wazoo fire card and small ferro rod. He was able to purify water and catch fish using his survival kit. Loads of wildlife on the river this trip! Beavers, river otters, herons, snakes coyotes, deer and more!
