LEAVING PENANG, MALAYSIA, TO TRAVEL TO BUKIT LAWANG, SUMATRA, INDONESIA

After an incredible time in Malaysia, it was time to move on with Kathryn and a new friend we’d made in George Town, Elke (Elle). After “nearly missing the flight” (girls’ words, not mine - we had plenty of time 😜) we got to Medan, Indonesia, and waited for my friend from uni, Miles, to arrive. From here we got a bus and a taxi to the village we wanted to go to in order to see orang utans.
