De Toppers are a Dutch musical trio , consisting of Gordon, René Froger, Jeroen van der Boom (since 2008) and Jan Smit (since 2017). Gerard Joling was a member from the beginning until November 2008, having interrupted for a year due to a skiing accident, which broke his arm and was therefore away from the stage, a group he has rejoined since 2010 to date.

The trio was formed in Amsterdam in 2005.

All three members are successful singers in the Netherlands.

In 2009, the Toppers represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest , with the song Shine . They reached the second semi-final but did not qualify for the final.
