GB News presenter Beverley Turner has faced criticism for inviting Russell Brand on her show and referring to him as a 'hero' amid allegations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse made by four women against the comedian and actor. Brand released a video denying these allegations but Turner's comments have caused outrage on social media, with some accusing her of rushing to his defense without considering the seriousness of the situation. The allegations against Brand date back to between 2006 and 2013, and one of the accusers claims she was 16 years old at the time. Brand's response to the allegations has included mentioning 'coordinated media attacks' and 'a coordinated attack' by mainstream media.
