Identity and Mental Health

My journey of mental health healing and freedom revealed I had no idea who I was. My battles were inflamed by the identity crisis going on within me. As I began to walk a healing journey, I noticed that my thoughts and emotions were lost in a sea of confusion.

I had no connection to identity, so I got easily lost in the thoughts that warred over my mind.

Can you relate?

Look around and you will observe a manifestation of an identity crisis all around. The battles we face have a connection to an attack on identity.

How we relate to the world around us flows through how we see ourselves. And how we are relating to each other seems to be drowning with confusion.

Today I want to talk about identity, what it means to connect to who God says you are, letting go of who you are NOT and how identity strengthening can have a dynamic influence on your mental health.
