Case Study Report

The way of introduction about the research topic was not satisfactory. It was too short and went on very rapidly. The introduction could have been more elaborative and she would have introduced her to the research topic in a more elaborative way. The speed was very fast and she uttered words so rapidly that an interviewee may get confused. She would have spoken in a better manner with proper pauses. The general behavior of the interviewer was quite suggestive e.g. when she asked, “can you give me some example of what you learnt?”. She continued to speak after this question and started to suggest an example about bias and all that. The behavior in this example was disrespectful in a way that she tried to suggest that you were biased before training but learnt to be better from the training. Her body language was so imposing that the interviewee may get confused and the interviewer will definitely get biased answers according to her will. An interviewer in a research interview should not be suggestive or imposing, his or her duty is just to ask questions and note down the answers without any bias. The way was building rapport to the interviewee was also not satisfactory.
