WD-40 Berryman Stabil and more get BANNED in 2024 – WD40 Gets Owned by AvE

I was right. They’re banning most automotive chemicals, sprays, oils, lubricants, etheres and more!

True, its Canada, starting January 2024, there will be sweeping bans on anything flammable (though not exclussively). The Canadian Environmental agency deemed these chemicals bad mojo, without any consideration to the effects on labor, and the economy.

Most of us watching, are in the US, so the question is, will this affect us? Of course it will. Smaller companies, that somehow manage to file any exemption paperwork, pay entire armies of attorneys for the unfeasibility studies when it comes to compliance to the new regs, must produce reformulated products for the Canadian market.

This means that for the same revenue, a company has to make two products, with two formulations, serving the same exact purpose. Obviously the reformulated garbage won’t be good. It might not even work, but the issue is, with a growing ban by states (since they do love jumping on ban bandwagons), this leaves the company no choice but to drop the old good version and make ONLY the compliant version.

Brakleen was a great example of this. This product was itself a response to an older ban, but over the years, the product actually becomes good. Much like with CAFÉ standards that are met by cars that actually perform, and are what we want, the moment that occurs, the standards are increased. In some cases, like with CAFÉ to insane, impossible levels. Its as if theyre not meant to be complied with, and rather meant to end said industry or market.

WD-40 even has to audacity to market speak on AvE’s video, corpo speaking, trying to promote reformulated garbage. But we have seen this before with Kleenstrip Aircract Remover, and the ban of Methylene Chloride, just because two morons FAFOed and their mommies went to the EPA to ban the chemical. Funny how that their argument was a safety argument. Is the EPA now OSHA?

Either way, this safety culture is all about control and protecting their power. So stuck up and get ready. Its gonna get froggy out there.
