France🇫🇷 1923 Roller skating originated as performing arts in the 18th Century. In 1819 the new innovation was first patented Mr. M Petitbled. These early skates seen in the video are similar to today's inline skates though were not very maneuverable only allowing the,wearer to make the largest of sweeping turns.
