This camera is located at the Mon Valley Works–Irvin Plant in West Mifflin, PA, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. The nest is located along the Monongahela River. This is the same river the Hays Bald Eagle Nest is located on.

This live video feed has been granted a Special Permit by the Pennsylvania Game Commission for educational purposes. The Game Commission’s mission is: To manage wild birds, wild mammals and their habitats for current and future generations.

Nest History
The nest was constructed in 2019 in a sycamore tree.
2020 there was one confirmed eaglet that fledged.
2021 there were two confirmed eaglets that fledged.
2022 there were two confirmed eaglets that fledged.
2023 there was one confirmed eaglet that fledged.

We have two cameras on this nest. Both cameras stream 24/7 and in 1440p.
First camera was installed in December of 2021.
Second camera was installed in May of 2022.
Third camera was installed in June of 2023
