man this guy really loves telling this lie. It’s important for us to understand that when the act of homosexuality itself was condemned in both the old and new testament, it wasn’t a group that was targeted but rather the action of same sex relationships.

Robertson continues to try and make this faulty point that the bible can’t condemn homosexuality because the bible didn’t actually have the word homosexual in it until 1946. Here’s where his argument falls apart. Paul in the new testament used the word arsekakoitai. that is a compound word with arsen meaning man, and koitai meaning to bed together. So the word itself literally means men who bed together. This point that mr progressive continues to try and make is absolutely irrelevant for one very simple reason… the bible isn’t referring to one specific group, it’s referring to the bedroom activities performed by this group. It’s like saying dealing narcotics is fine, because the word drug dealer isn’t in the bible.
