Zelensky returns to Washington in need of aid under a shutdown shadow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's second trip to Washington since the start of the war is being overshadowed by the prospect of a federal government shutdown as House Republicans disagree over spending, including funding for Ukraine.

But despite support from the White House and Senate Republicans, Zelensky's appeals may fall on deaf ears on Capitol Hill as the weather cools after a disappointing spring counteroffensive.
