A dead bedroom is, unfortunately, a common scenario within a marriage. Often, the wife points out her state of exhaustion/anxiety/stress as the source for the lack of libido and intimacy. This sends the husband into Mr. Fixit mode, trying to do all he can to alleviate his wife's stress. It doesn't work. The core issues are not addressed, and both just get more and more frustrated.
