This is the film that the Royal family has blocked from release. Unlawful Killing was not released in the UK, as director Keith Allen refused to make the 87 changes insisted upon by lawyers attached to the project.

Unlawful Killing is a 2011 British documentary film, directed by Keith Allen, about the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales, and Dodi Fayed on 31 August 1997. It was financed by Mohamed Al-Fayed and Associated-Rediffusion and shown in Cannes while the 2011 Cannes Film Festival was in progress.

Was Princess Diana, arguably the most famous woman of the modern age, really murdered, or was her death a tragic accident? Michael Mansfield QC: "I found it difficult simply to accept that what happened in Paris was 'just one of those tragic things' and has it happened, the jury at the inquest agreed."
