When They Came for Maui

There's certainly gum stuck under the seat. I said, "gum!" It's not that kind of theatre, or it wasn't at the time. The cute blonde that got nailed by her beau-of-the-moment, (nude scene), hears a sound. It's heavy breathing. It's heavy, ominous breathing. She thinks it's the guy she just banged wanting to go another round. Every generation X'er and a few latter day boomers know what's about to happen. It's a slasher flick. Give head, lose your head. That's the protocol. Bimbos always die first in slasher flicks.
Her disembodied head will show up in a box somewhere, or roll off a shelf into the hands of the only virgin on the field trip, or on the Terror Train.
Let this be a lesson to all you young ladies getting felt up in the dollar movie theater.

Honestly, it's not that I have an obsession with that poem. It's just that, the, "THEY" just keep on coming. One minute you're living in paradise carelessly lamenting all the shite that's happening to "those people," and the next thing you know "those people" are You.
According to census, only 10% of the residents of Maui are native Hawaiian. The majority population are Asian and White. Just sayin. I like to look at the demographics vs what they show us and tell us via fake news media.
Maui, evidently, if you look at the demographics has been gentrified since it was essentially stolen, like every other state in this union, from its original inhabitants. So who's really under attack? That last ten percent? Not bloody likely.
Anyway. Finally getting this piece out.
It's a wacky episode for a wacky world. The "THEY" are coming for everybody. It seems like they're coming after the comfortable demographics first. If they can't turn the rugged rural people against the comparably armed inner city people, they'll have to take out the most blissfully ignorant. Those who think they are safe within the system. The self-styled "good" people. Manly P Hall noted, "the goodie-goodies are the thieves of virtue."
Anyway. Universe took over my mind once again and had my thumb peck out this intro. I have not evolved enough to use this keyboard with more than one fat thumb.
We do what we do. Talk about Maui. Go to the gym. Put it in a package and send it into cyberspace, "submitted for your approval." We've all entered the Twilight Zone and all you poor young'inz, who can't sit still for 30-ish minutes of black and white television with no special effects, will be claimed by Satan and sent directly to pop-culture hell. While your parents try to keep up with pronoun, species and gender etiquette. So they don't get cancelled for mis-speciesfying the recently transitioned neighbor, as a collie-spanial when anyone with a heart can tell it's a cockerdoodle.
Collie-spaniel! Indeed. Such a faux pas could get your mortgage cancelled, your four oh one kay liquidated and your precious social media account terminated. Permanently!
We've come a long way since the movie theater. Have a wonderful weekend. If you actually read this, I expect, (because I'm all out of hope), you found it delightfully distopian.
