Conspiracy Christianity and The Great Apostasy

Apostasy in Christianity refers to the repudiation of Christ and the central teachings of Christianity by someone who formerly was a Christian.
The term apostasy comes from the Greek word apostasia meaning "rebellion", "state of apostasy", "abandonment", or "defection", it is deconversion.

To fully identify and combat apostasy, Christians should understand its various forms and the traits that characterize its doctrines and teachers.

There are two main types of apostasy: (1) a falling away from key and true doctrines of he Bible into heretical teachings that claim to be "the real" Christian doctrine, and (2) a complete renunciation of the Christian faith, which results in a full abandonment of Christ.

The Great Apostasy is a belief held by some religious groups, including Mormons, that after the deaths of Jesus Christ and his apostles, men corrupted the principles of the gospel and made unauthorised changes to the Church, leading to a complete falling away from the true faith. Some believe that the Catholic Church is the result of this apostasy, while others believe that the true Church was restored through their prophet.

Apostasy and heresy are two distinct but related concepts in Christianity. Here are the main differences between them:

Apostasy:
1. Apostasy is the rejection of truth that a person once believed

2. Apostasy is the deliberate act of a professing Christian who knowingly and deliberately rejects revealed truth regarding the deity of Jesus Christ, redemption through His atoning sacrifice, or any part of the doctrines related to salvation

3. Apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith

4. Apostasy is the formal disaffiliation from, abandonment of, or renunciation of a religion by a person

Heresy:
1. Heresy is the addition of foreign doctrines

2. Heresy is any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs, in particular the accepted beliefs of a church or religious organization

3. Heresy is the obstinate denial or obstinate doubt after the reception of baptism of some truth which is to be believed by divine and Catholic faith

4. Apostasy becomes heresy when there is a deliberate holding to error in spite of knowing the truth of the word of God

Let's explore.
