Sand Casting Aluminum - Making a 2nd Amendment Coin for a friend

In this short video I am showing you briefly how I made a 2nd Amendment Coin using the Sand Casting process. A friend reached out to me and asked me if I could make it for him.
I made the pattern using a piece of mdf. I carved it out using my CNC machine. Once carved I made an impression in greensand foundry sand used for casting metal. Melted aluminum with my electric furnace and poured the molten aluminum into the mold. After some time and the aluminum solidified, I opened the mold to reveal it.
