As usual, we get distracted easily. This time, because I want to see what happens if Shadowheart talks to a wolf. We've also since coming down there learned we can read items without it counting as stealing, so we get started on investigating Kargha. Sadly, nothing comes of Shadowheart's fear. Here, Karlach can play music so even Kargha the monster who would kill children will tip us. This gives Lae'zel a chance to get the hint to the next part of this quest. Once we get back to fight the Shadow Druids, the friendly druids are... not exactly wise when it comes to not walking into friendly Moonbeams. It's like they want to die.

The fight at Risen Road is a pain; that Fake Paladin and the trader are Level 5, packing what looked like Fireball and two attacks. Still, the best part is Shadowheart pushing the Paladin back into her Cloak of Daggers for the kill. The basement exploration is a fun little bit of roguery, even if the trick to open the door is a bit obvious. Overall, we did a whole lot here.

All that's left is saving Halsin, defeating the goblins, finding the githyanki, and rescuing Duke Ravenguard. Oh, and jumping down the pit beneath the Blighted Village.
