Save Parker

Meet Parker (formerly known as Wilford), who desperately needs help. He is a young cattle dog mix who was picked up on 9/11/23 by Stanislaus county animal control with a fractured leg. No one came to claim him and he is suffering an awful injury, a badly broken femur bone! It has been weeks since his accident happened and he has been wasting away at the shelter with the untreated injury. We can not fathom the pain he is in!
Luckily for Parker, he met an angel who knew this pain from her own experience of a broken femur and took him to an emergency hospital. He finally received pain medication and X-rays which showed how bad the break is. To save Parker the vet recommended an amputation. His foster mom says that despite the pain he is in, he is the sweetest, most loving dog who adores children and deserves a chance to be saved.
