The parental rights movement has been characterized by Justin Trudeau as "transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia". Yet many LGBT people support parents rights and participated in the protests against gender ideology in schools.

Julia Malott is a trans-woman who defies the typical media narrative that all LGBT people support gender ideology, queer theory, and all the other ideologies that "progressive" people are supposed to believe. In this video, Julia advocates for people of opposing views to talk to each other. Her message was well received by the diverse crowd of protesters.
