CURIOSITY - short film Uganda

Dambo is a young man who grew up in a rough ghetto, surrounded by poverty and violence. He's determined to become rich before he turns 25 and sees an opportunity to make quick cash through human trafficking.

Desperate for money, Dambo devises a plan to kidnap children from his community and sell them to traffickers. As he carries out his scheme, he faces intense inner conflict as he grapples with the morality of his actions and the repercussions of his choices.

As the authorities close in on him, Dambo must make a decision that could either save him or destroy him forever. Will he continue on his path of greed and destruction, or will he find a way to make amends for his mistakes and choose a different path?

In this gritty and thought-provoking short film, Dambo's Dream explores the harsh realities of poverty, desperation, and the high cost of chasing one's dreams at any cost.
