SUNDAY 24.09. MUSIC MEDICINE - HEIKE & SHONA - SOUND CHECK 2

I have had 2 wonderful training weekends with Christine Stevens, who has done amazing work with a wide variety of people effected in all kinds of ways - she has made music with survivors of Katrina in New Orleans and in Northern Iraq. In fact she has drummed with hundreds of companies to unite in Rhythm, Harmony and Soul - her book Music Medicine is inspirational and i loved her workshops more than any others... (ups - sorry Arthur )
My friend Shona and i shall have a session here locally on the 24th September - in the Amethyst Cave, Seaborne road in Southbourne - we have a Facebook event which i shall post here.

I also post the words we took from Christine's book which i read at the start of every session when i did them pre- 2020.
Shona's beautiful Stone whistle arrived just in time.... we have beautiful instruments to play with and we shall end our session with a Sound bath for the participants.

The ability to be musical comes from within.

And shared in Community, Ceremony, Prayer and Fun.
There is a reason we say we Play music.
Music is about Creativity, Playfulness and Expression.
Even if you've been silenced and excluded from music making,
You are still yearning for Music in your Life.
You can create Harmony in your Life.
And connect with the Musical Spirit that allows your Soul to Sing
