Coastal Foraging in Pembrokeshire Wales | Catching and Cooking Our Seafood Haul!

We went coastal foraging with Craig Evans in Pembrokeshire, Wales, for a massive seafood catch! We started the day in the glorious weather outside our lovely accommodation in Carmarthenshire before being collected by Craig Evans to go coastal foraging in Pembrokeshire! We met Llew (lion in Welsh), the golden retriever, and the rest of the group before heading down to the beach. We learned all about the history of the area, marine ecology and the saline we could find all around us. After a finding and catching a huge seafood haul of soft shell clams, razor clams, spider crabs, mussels, prawns, cockles, seaweed and so much more we cooked it right there on the beach. Craig then took us to see where we could forage wild garlic and oyster mushrooms.

We then returned to our accommodation in Carmarthenshire, Baytree Cottage Bed & Breakfast, before going to Florentino’s for dinner. It certainly didn’t disappoint! Massive thanks to Celtic Routes for inviting us on this trip! https://celticroutes.info/
