- 2 cups atta (whole wheat flour)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- Water as required
- Oil for frying

Instructions:
1. Begin by mixing atta, salt, and ghee in a bowl.
2. Gradually add water and knead it into a soft dough.
3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions and roll them into smooth balls.
5. Dust each ball with flour and roll it into a 6-7 inch diameter circle.
6. Make 4-5 cuts with a knife, starting from the center to the edges.
7. Carefully separate and lift the layers, ensuring they remain attached at the center.
8. Dust with flour and gently press the edges to create a thicker center and thinner edges.
9. Cook the paratha on a hot tawa (griddle) over medium heat.
10. Apply oil to both sides and cook until golden brown spots appear.
11. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or raita.
