If someone were to spend 5 seconds on Venus in history, they would have faced extremely hostile conditions. Venus has a thick, toxic atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide, with temperatures soaring to around 900 degrees Fahrenheit (475 degrees Celsius) at its surface. Additionally, the atmospheric pressure on Venus is about 92 times greater than that of Earth, equivalent to the pressure found 900 meters (3,000 feet) underwater on Earth. In those 5 seconds, a human or any equipment would likely be crushed and incinerated due to the extreme heat and pressure, making it an inhospitable environment for any form of life or exploration.
