Gaj Pass (4400 meters above Mean Sea Level)

Location- Gaj Pass, Himachal Pradesh, India.
This is the shortest and most popular route to sacred Lam Dal Lake from Kangra side. The ascent to this pass is very steep. From Bagga dhar the climb to the top of pass is very tiring and is nearly vertical.
Gaj Pass is situated directly above Lam Dal Lake. A small temple dedicated to "Goddess Bhagwati" known as "Jotan Wali Mata" is situated atop this pass.
