In this video, I'm sharing with you some of my favorite tips to help reduce stress at work.

The first thing that is incredibly helpful when it comes to reducing stress at work is to get really clear about what you can control and what you can't. One of the biggest ways our brain causes us stress and anxiety at work is by focusing on things and getting frustrated about stuff we cannot control.

So ask yourself: "What are some things about my work that I can control and how do I make a few shifts to reduce stress and optimize my energy?" One thing I like to do is keep the first few hours in the morning open for my productive deep thinking work.

My second suggestion is to put at least one 15 minute self-care break on your schedule every single day. Research actually shows that taking a regular 10-15 minute break throughout the day reduces your stress at work and makes you more productive.

If you can take a walk outside during your break, Even a 5-10 minute walk outside during the day reduces stress and improves your mood.

The third tip I have for you when it comes to reducing stress at work is to remember that our brain has a negativity bias, and in general, we are much more drawn to something that is negative, annoying, frustrating. And this negativity bias can increase your stress significantly.

To counter that negativity bias, add a gratitude practice to your day. It will help reduce stress and help you find more moments of joy in your daily experience.
