What We Planted In Our Desert Garden

Selecting the right plants and trees is crucial in our mission to transform my desert property into a thriving desert forest.

Inspired by both Diane's vision and the Miyawaki Method for Creating Forests, we embarked on the journey to try and create a desert garden at Dustups Ranch.

A truly fertile soil was created with Diane's help & resources, for which I want to thank her again for being part of this permaculture project.

Together, we carefully planted specific trees in Dove Alley, ensuring they'll receive the ideal conditions to thrive in the arid Texan heat.
